How long are the sessions?
In my experience people need longer than the standard 50 or 60 min hour to feel complete. I bookend my sessions with a check in and follow up from the previous session at the beginning and end with takeaways and an action plan for the interim between sessions.
That said my session “hour” is 75 minutes long for individuals and 90 minutes for couples or families. This time frame allows the session to evolve in both a fluid and intentional way.
Individuals: 75 or 90 min sessions.
Couples or families: 90 min to 2 hours.
Special “Lunch hour” 60 min.: This is my only individual 60 min session offering and is for the client who ONLY has 60 min. to spare because they are at work or have child care issues.
What type of commitment do I need to make?
Unlike many coaches who require that you only purchase a package, I encourage clients to book one or two sessions with me and to see how they resonate with our work together.
Ongoing, my clients have the option to book sessions weekly, bi weekly, monthly or simply as needed. I also offer 6 session packages at a slightly reduced rate.
How often do we meet?
This is up to you. However, It helps ( especially at the beginning) to meet regularly in order to build and sustain momentum. I suggest meeting weekly or at the very least biweekly until you’re in a good flow and a good connection has been established between us.
A big part of coaching work is to commit to making that time for yourself on a regular basis, not only as a commitment to your self care but to assure your personal accountability as you begin to implement powerful changes in your life.
Who do you work with?
I work with individuals of all ages including youth ( ages 11+), couples, parents, families, adult children and their parents, and adult siblings.
How do I pay?

Need-Based Sliding Scale and Covid relief rates
I offer a limited number of NEED-BASED sliding scale spots. Proof of income, or loss of income is required to qualify.
I do not offer sliding scale rates for two-hour sessions.
What is drama therapy?
Drama and Movement therapy are embodied therapeutic practices which are active, engaged and experiential. According to the North American Drama Association, drama therapy can provide the context for participants to tell their stories, set goals and solve problems, express feelings, or achieve catharsis. Through drama, the depth and breadth of inner experience can be actively explored and interpersonal relationship skills can be enhanced.

What is your cancellation policy?
I require that you notify me 24 hours BEFORE our session time if you need to cancel, and if you can give me 48 hours it is much appreciated. Otherwise, the client is responsible for paying for the missed session in full BEFORE we reschedule.

Where and How will we meet?
We will meet over zoom and you will receive a private zoom link that is yours only. When the world opens up again post covid and if you live in the SF Bay Area, it can be an option for you to come to my office in the East Bay for in person sessions.
Do I have to choose what type of coaching I want to do with you?
Aside from determining whether this will be individual coaching vs couples or family coaching, you do not need to choose a “modality”. I will pull from my various skill sets to employ what approaches are best for you in the moment.
How do I prepare for our sessions?
I recognize there are the inevitable distractions of life when you find yourself in coaching during a lunch break at the office or when the kids are at home. However, the more spacious and private your time can be the better it is for you.
I ask in general that you have a notebook, pen, water/ beverage of your choice and that you are comfortable and ideally in a somewhat quiet and private place where you will not be disturbed.
When do you schedule sessions?
I am in California on Pacific time although I schedule with clients across many time zones. I generally schedule Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 11AM and 6:30 PM PT. I generally do not work on weekends although I will occasionally take a client on a Saturday late morning or early afternoon.
