Dream Analysis

Dream Analysis Chagall

The landscape of our dream life is vast and offers us amazing opportunities to learn more about ourselves, our world, and our life’s path and purpose.

Carl Jung tells us that contrary to what we think, our dreams do not tell us what our conscious mind already knows. Rather, dreams are like riddles for our unconscious and that if we engage in the process of solving these riddles we will receive guidance not available to us in any other way.

Do you experience:

  • Recurring dreams or nightmares that you would like to put to rest so YOU can rest?
  • Being a vivid dreamer who tends to frequently remember their dreams and wants to go deeper?
  • Your dreams in fragments and don’t know what to make of your dreams but are curious?

In our sessions I will teach you a few simple techniques to better analyze your dreams that will NOT involve dream dictionaries or encyclopedias and WILL be based on your personal associations with the symbols and metaphors in your dreams.

Research has shown that thematic nightmares or repetitive dreams tend to disappear with a small chance of recurrence once they have been investigated and analyzed.

Together we will explore the themes and symbols that appear in your dreams and how they directly relate to what is currently happening in your life and what is waiting to happen.

“All my life, I’ve had very vivid dreams and can usually remember them in great detail. A little over a year ago, my sister suggested I reach out to a woman she’d recently met (Michelle) who did dream analysis. I called Michelle and we hit it off immediately.

When we first started our sessions, they were focused on looking at my dreams. Michelle’s process and methodology were unlike any ‘dream analysis’ I’d tried to do on my own with books and online research. I was amazed at what we uncovered and how it resonated with what I was experiencing in my everyday life.

I realized how much I could learn from my dreams, and how studying them was helping me in all areas of my life.”

“Michelle’s work with my daughter has engaged her creativity and body, as well as her mind and heart. My daughter was experiencing anxiety and depression as she entered a tricky period of adolescence and has found working with Michelle to be profoundly helpful. Michelle helps my girl to illuminate and sort out both what’s going on inside her and offers support and strategies to navigate the social dramas of middle school. After her sessions she is more joyful, grounded, and in touch with what’s underneath the turbulent emotions she struggles with. She feels Michelle ‘gets’ her and feels safe expressing various aspects of herself. She enjoys and appreciates the sessions-she says, ‘they are intense but in a good sort of way; Michelle really helps me with my moods and anxiety.’ As a parent, knowing that my daughter has this sort of wise support is a relief, and a blessing.
