If someone asked you to describe who you ARE not what you DO, what would you say?
WHO do you want to BECOME?
Are you content with the CHOICES you’ve made and are continuing to make in your life?
Are you happy with WHO you are?
Are you satisfied with your RELATIONSHIPS?
Are you FULFILLED by your work in the world?
Do you have a sense of PURPOSE in your day to day life?
If you’re unclear or unhappy with your answers to these questions, let’s continue this exploration together.
Yes, there does seem to be a lot of folks that are considering themselves “life coaches,” and many of them seem to choose to live in the Boulder, CO area. Why is that? I actually think it makes a lot of sense. Many Boulderites are transplants, often seeking to better themselves in the accepting healing enclave of Boulder. Boulder finds itself at the intersection of outdoor adventure, a startup and technology center, and a destination for higher education and personal , psychological and spiritual growth. With all of these people aiming to create lives where they can be their true authentic selves, it’s no wonder there are a lot of life coaches in Boulder. There is truly a need!
My approach is different from that of a typical life coach who has gone through traditional coaching certification programs. I went to grad school for Drama Therapy and counseling psychology and I’ve done numerous certifications in archetypal jungian psychology, dream work, conscious uncoupling, and somatic experiencing and thus I take a more psychodynamic and integrated approach to my coaching work.
This means not only do I provide you with the tools and accountability which will support you as you advance in your personal life and within your relationships, but in our work together we will most importantly focus on the internal, and mostly unconscious or subconscious mental forces that you are largely unaware of, but that drive your emotions and actions.
I believe the goal is to help you better know yourself, empowered with the understanding that this gives you an experience of having more control over and with whom, you move through life.
And because I work with so many different modalities, I can meet you exactly where you are and at your comfort level.
Some questions that may be going through your head if you’re considering working with a life coach could be:
My work is unique in that I blend a practical down to earth and systematic approach for creating life change with practices that draw from a blend of spiritual, psychological and mystical traditions.
My background in Jungian psychology, Drama/Movement therapy, Spiritual studies, Gestalt, and the Performing Arts give me a strong and diverse foundation with which to coach you from a variety of different perspectives.
My commitment is to help you foster a strong connection between your mind, body and spirit, and help you to more deeply know yourself.
In doing so you will be on the path to creating and sustaining the balanced, dynamic and fulfilling life that is rightfully yours!
